Who We Are

Gumnut Antiques was established in 1984 and is run by Denise and Steven Koszek, a husband and wife team licenced to trade in antiques, silver, jewellery and associated wares.

For the first 11 years of business we were involved in the restoration and conservation of Australian Colonial furniture, the following 6 years working in conjunction with Stanmore Colonial Antiques in Sydney until their retirement.

The next 5 years we were involved in a successful partnership called Trilogy Antiques in Erina on the Central Coast. In late 1999 we finally opened under our original trading name Gumnut Antiques.

We still have a leaning towards Australian antiques and collectables but no longer specialise, trading more generally in most things old and antiques.

Where To Find Us

We are located at 296 The Entrance Road, Long Jetty, New South Wales (NSW) about 3 minutes from The Entrance on the NSW Central Coast.

Access from Sydney is either 20 minutes from Gosford or the expressway via the Tuggerah/Wyong exit. From the Newcastle direction access is via Doyalson through Budgewoi off the motorway link also about a 20 minute journey.

The shop is located near the Entrance and close to other popular destinations such as Kim’s Camp at Toowoon Bay and Shelly Beach golf course. There is good accommodation available locally along with many restaurants. For the collector there are several other antique and collectors shops nearby. There is also plenty to do for the children.
