Municipality of Newtown Commemoration Medal Silver Jubilee 1862 - 1912. 1 of 5000 medals issued to schoo children in the Newtown Municipality in 1912 as part of their Silver Jubilee celebrations with benefits to the children to whom they were issued to ie free pass to the movie theatre a lunch etc.The medal is in fair condition with most of its gilding in tact but, it has been dropped and there is corrosion present.
