For your consideration, we are offering for sale this very scarce Circa 1969 Parker 75 Presidential Fountain Pen in Solid 14K Gold with 14K Gold nib. This Parker 75 Presidential Fountain Pen is extremely scarce to find. It is truly a beautiful ahigh class fountain pen.
The fountain pen cap and barrel are in very good condition with no deep scratches, dings, dents, or repairs with the slip cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The Cap Lip is stamped with, "PARKER" and the backside of the cap is stamped with, "14K GOLD CAP & BARREL MADE IN U.S.A.". There is a monograms F.E.J. Butcher General Manager of the Commonwealth Bank at the time on the barrel. The pen is fitted with a 14K nib and is stamped, "PARKER 14K POINT USA".
History
This pen is part of a significant moment in history and was used in the signing of the Bougainville Copper Mines finance agreement as a joint venture with the Commonwealth Bank and the Bank of America. With the pen comes a miniature in Perspex and a letter from M.J. Mulkern Senior Vice President of the San Francisco Bank of America Office.
