Alice Purton was a traditional landscape watercolourist, painter of coastal and river scenes who was active in the mid 20th century. She exhibited at shows and galleries. Her landscape watercolours are located on the waterways of Sydney and the north coast of New South Wales. Her works are represented in institutional and private collections.
